Local

Cityview Christian Center

Cityvew is an innercity church on the near-west side of Indianapolis. Two outreach opportunities are available for Radiant. The first Thursday of each month we serve dinner. Meet at Radiant 4:30 pm, carpool downtown and return by 8:00pm. The third Saturday we serve breakfast. Meet at Radiant, 8:30 am, and carpool downtown and return before noon. Open Doors

Open Doors of Westfield and Washington Township was created to provide a variety of service programs to improve the lives of Washington Township residents. Services include a Food Pantry/Clothes Closet, Back to School program, Sweats & Gifts for Kids on Christmas and Spring Cleaning Baskets. Open Doors is a volunteer organization sponsored by 15 churches, community organizations and individuals.

Al-Anon

For over 55 years, Al-Anon has been offering strength and hope for friends and families of problem drinkers. Al-Anon meets weekly at 7:00pm on Tuesday.

National

Red Bird Mission

Red Bird Mission and Clinic have been providing ministries in this region of the Appalachian Mountains since 1921. Today the need remains critical in this isolated, rural distressed area. Chronic poverty, lack of jobs, poor housing, and rugged mountainous terrain provide obstacles to a fuller life for the residents of this area. Red Bird Mission and Clinic strives to meet these needs through ministry in five areas: Education, Health and Wellness, Community Outreach, Economic Opportunity, and Community Housing Improvement.

Radiant has sent a mission team to help each of last 5 years. Look for more information regarding the May 2011 trip at the beginning of next year.

Cornelius Foundation International (CFI)

The Cornelius Foundation International is a (501c3) faith-based educational childrens organization, serving students, teachers, and parents in under-resourced areas of Belize, Mexico, and beyond. Current projects include school lunch programs and the distribution of school supplies, uniforms, text books, clothing, shoes, and teaching materials. Dragonfly Mission International

Dragonfly Mission International is dedicated to serving the poor and people affected by or infected with HIV/AIDS in Jinja, Uganda. Jinja is the second largest commercial city in Uganda and is home to more than 80,000 people. Uganda is said to be the birth place of the HIV virus which has nearly destroyed an entire generation of people. Many of these people infected with HIV lack the nutrition to receive vital medication. Our organization is currently feeding twenty families which are made up of widows caring for their children. For only a dollar and thirty-three cents we can feed an entire family for one day. That’s the cost of double cheeseburger here in America! Our prayer is that God will continue to provide for these families basic needs and to help them live full and successful lives together. Would you consider coming alongside us as we serve the Ugandan people?
